So refinement loops were the most successful approach, particularly first place NVARC solution (paper here https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vkEluaaJTzaZiJL69TkZovJUkPSDH5Xc/view) which used a refinement loop for Multi-stage synthetic data generation.
